UK HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING AND SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
The Diploma in Computer Science and UK Higher National Diploma in Computing and Systems Development programme are designed to give students a strong foundation in computer technologies, the Internet and networking, database administration and programming with the aim of preparing students to become a competent professional in computer science with strong technical and analytical skills.
Computer Science is the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and mechanisation of the methodical procedures that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication and access to information.
Students are assessed via continuous assignments, tutorials, industrial training and written examinations culminating with a final year project. Assessment for BTEC Higher National Diploma will solely be assignments based.

The above programme modules are for Newbridge Diploma. These modules will be adapted for the UK Higher National Diploma
|SPM / O-Level||3 credits (Grade C or above) including Mathematics|
|UEC||3 credits (Grade C or above) including Mathematics and a pass in English|
|STPM||Pass STPM (Grade C or above) in any subjects and
credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its Equivalent.
|Certificate Level 3 (MQF)||Pass certificate with credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent|
|Other Equivalent Qualifications||1. Candidates without credit in Mathematics at SPM level
may be considered if the certificate programme consists of
Mathematics which is equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
2. Candidate with credit in any computing related subjects at SPM level
or its equivalent may be given consideration.

|1. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall grade of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.0 in Reading and Writing subtests
